The Silverstream Retreat is located midway between Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt cities, and 25 minutes to downtown Wellington. The retreat sits on a terrace overlooking the Hutt Valley and is surrounded by native bush, making it an ideal setting for conferences, events and retreats.
Function Centre
The Silverstream Retreat function centre is a great place for any function or conference and is ideal for larger conferences, as a wedding venue or for special dinners, banquets, concerts etc. The main auditorium (Rafters Room) has a seating capacity of 250 with full audio/visual equipment available, including a 2.5m x 2.0m multimedia screen and stage lighting.
Adjoining this is the Boardwalk Foyer and Boardwalk Café. This area is perfect for casual functions, or can be used simply as a welcoming area or as a coffee/lunch break out room.The café opens out to the Boardwalk Garden. This architecturally designed, tranquil, outdoor area has a large covered space that makes it ideal for socialising. The boardwalk platforms and rustic gazebo overlooking the bush enhance the area.
Accommodation
The Silverstream Retreat offers motel-style serviced apartment, single,
twin share or bunk-style accommodation, and is well suited for longer
conferences and events where delegates need on-site accommodation.
